Kennedy and Berson out at District doubles

The Boys Tennis team of Tyler Kennedy and Cameron Berson fell in the opening round of District doubles on Saturday, May 9.

Kennedy and Berson faced off against Danville's Jon Hauk and Andrew Tuckman and lost in straight sets 6-3, 7-6 (8-6).

"We got off to a slow start then roared ahead in the second set only to lose in a tight tiebreaker," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "They pushed Danville until the end, but couldn't overcome the steady play of their opponents. I was pleased with how the boys played together as a doubles team. We need to work more on controlling the net, and not giving it up easily."
