"Our players played on the very windy Cowanesque Valley courts for the first time," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "They played very well, with many close games. Court positioning is improving, as well as shot selection. Fatigue became a factor in the second match, as most of our players were playing their third and fourth match of the afternoon on the warmest day of the spring."
The losses drop the Hornets to 0-4 (0-2 NTL). The team will be back in action today as they host Towanda.
