Lady Hornet Tennis falls to Libery in playoffs

The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team were eliminated in the opening round of District IV playoffs as they lost to Liberty, 3-1.

Jourdyn Buckheit def. Raisa Rogers 6-4, 1-6, 6-0
Savannah Alexyn def. Maddy Clemens 6-0, 6-3
Katey McClosky def. Shyann Foreman 6-3, 6-0
Doubles Results
Bailey Corse/Riley Kitchen def. Molly Furlong/Lauren Briggs 6-4, 4-6, 6-3
The Lady Hornets end their season at 8-5 (5-3 NTL). Members of the team will be competing this Saturday in the District IV Singles and next Saturday in the District IV Doulbes tournaments.
