The Wellsboro golf team shot a 347 at Towanda on Tuesday to win their third straight match.
"I was real happy with how we played," head coach Corey Lewis said. "It was a tough match playing a good team on their home course. It definitely feels good, we just need to keep them rolling."
Towanda shot 352, Athens shot 354, Mansfield was at 377, NEB was at 421, followed by Northern Tioga at 431 and Sayre at 472.
Junior Brett Kendrick led the team with a round of 78, followed by Senior Dillon King (87), Senior Zach Bower (90), Senior Blair Carson (92), Senior Garrett Worden (108), and Sophomore Tyler Kennedy (110).
With the win, the Hornets push their league-leading record to 23-1. The team will be back in action on Monday, September 16 as they host the NTL.
