Senior Hannah Zuchowski has been selected to the Class AA PVCA All-State team for volleyball.
Zuchowski led the team, and the area, with over 460 kills this season en route to a District 4 Class AA title. During her career at Wellsboro, Zuchowski has racked up over 930 kills.
"Making the All-State team is extremely exciting, I am honored, and this is something that I will never forget," said Zuchowski. "I always dreamed of being recognized for playing volleyball but I thought that was just a silly dream. This year that dream became a reality."
Hannah's mom, head coach Sharon Zuchowski was extremely proud of her daughter.
"I'm honored. I knew she's worked very hard throughout her career," stated Coach Zuchowski.
"Getting named to the All-State team was the cookie (I don't like cherries!) on top of the sundae for me!" Hannah continued. "I really am honored and would like to thank everyone who helped make this possible."
WellsboroAthletics.com would like to congratulate Hannah on her accomplishments, dedication, and work ethic during the 2012 season and throughout her volleyball career at Wellsboro.
